Did a search.  Looks like posts 3, 4, & 5 show the package you need to install:  http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-software-2/gtk-message-failed-to-load-module-canberra-gtk-module-936168/.

Hi:
I tried for several days to try and solve this problem.  I really thank everyone who tried to help.  The end result is I purchased a set of USB speakers.  They worked right out of the box.  All you have to do is plug them in and open Pulse Volume Control and make the USB audio your default.

Also, I having trouble setting up the sounds for when you open and lose programs etc.  I know where to do it, but it says it needs to be supported by candberra.   Where do I find CANDBERRA,

Thanks..everyone!!!
