@UncleTom  Thanks for the tip, I'm just starting using 64bits and use Wine... pretty sure this was just a matter of time stublling on this problem.

I have WINE installed on Lite3.8 (64bit) and it seems OK.
 However, not all software will install. 
I found all sorts of problems with Win64bit programs. 
Since WINE does not have error messages, and since I'm too old to chase programming problems,,,
I discovered that by downloading the latest Win32bit programs, copy them to Lite, and most would install and run as they should.

I just installed Wine via Lite Software with no problem.
If you have broken packages, go to Menu, System, Install/Remove Software and fix them there. Then install Wine via Lite Software.
That workt for me thank you

I just installed Wine via Lite Software with no problem.

I cannot install wine because when I try to do it from the Linux Lite software application did not work and I also got some thing in terminal it looks like the packages they are broken is anyone else having this issue my apologies for my broken English
