Try using wine. It helps with most windows programs.

Just a thought in case you aren't familiar with it, take a look at Wings 3D:

It's perhaps a little less intuitive than Sketchup to begin with but there's a native Linux version (so you won't need to run under Wine as you will with Sketchup) and it's free. It's pretty powerful, I've been using it on and off for many years on Windows and Linux.

I did a quick Google of the term:

If you're on Linux Lite 2 you would most likely want to pay more attention to the Google hits that reference Ubuntu 14.04 since LL 2 in based on Ubuntu 14.04.

I haven't read the entire tutorial but this one looks promising
