Title: installed program not visible in Menu
Post by: Colin23erk on June 13, 2015, 01:48:22 PM
I have installed MP3gain using Synaptic from the repository -
It appears to be loaded but I cannot find it in the menu -
If I type MP3gain in the Menu search I get an option to" Run MP3gain" but nothing happens .

Am I missing something

IIRC, mp3gain is a command line utility, run from a terminal window.

thanks - then its not for me - Too old a dog to learn new tricks - using new GUI programs is hard enough

Update-- Found the EasyMP3gain  which is a GUI frontend for it - installed and it appears to be working OK
