I have installed UNetbootin from the Synaptic Package Manager and everything seems to be alright. I even updated all software prior to installing the said program. But when i try to run the program from either the main menu or a terminal all i get is a window called: UNetbootin Uninstaller which states UNetbootin is currently installed. Remove the existing version?
All i want to do is run the program in order to put a Linux distro on my USB Drive!

Uninstall it, and try using the one from here - http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/unetbootin-linux-latest

Hi Valtam, i've downloaded unetbootin-linux-608.bin but how on earth do i go about installing it?
-
Right click on it, 'Make file executable'. Then just double click on it to run it. Further instructions about it's use can be found here - http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/#install

I'm going to install Linux Lite 2.0 so i'll have to give this a miss for now but thanks for all the help Valtam
