Hello,
I've just finished my installation and I want to install a lamp server for start working but I can't, when I enter this command into my terminal I've an error:
apt-get install apache2 php5 mysql-server libapache2-mod-php5 php5-mysql
E: Unable to locate package apache2
E: Unable to locate package php5
E: Unable to locate package mysql-server
E: Unable to locate package libapache2-mod-php5
E: Unable to locate package php5-mysql
Any help ? :)

maybe sudo apt-get install will solved this?

I'm already logged in root when I try to do this so nop, I got the same error :s

Linux Lite is based on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
This talks about Server, But it may helps..?? "LAMP" (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ApacheMySQLPHP)

Welcome to Linux Lite and to the forums, Vincent and Drum.
It's been so long since I was in Europe that I'd totally forgotten what Drum tobacco was! Thanks for the reminder.
It may have required an 'apt-get update' for Synaptic to see those packages. A permissions issue would have just asked whether or not you were signed in as the root user. Anyway, glad it worked out in the end for you...
