I checked the panel preferences and it doesnt seem to give an option to move to the top.
I see horizontal, vertical, and deskbar. Is there a way to just move it to the top?

Hello!

You were practically there. You only needed to uncheck the 'Lock panel' box.

Do that, and the whole panel SHOULD now be able to be 'dragged' to the top...
