Title: GIMP doesnt maximize

Does anyone know how to maximize the gimp 2.10 window? I can minimize it, it does go full screen when i use F11, but the maximize button doesnt work at all. Not sure if thats a bug in Gimp, ubuntu 18.04 or LL 4.0 or my laptop

I was able to maximize the window after changing the theme. If you leaf it maximized when closing gimp it will open maximize. But if you unmaximize it and close gimp you are unable to maximize it again until you change the theme again. The best solution i could find and works for me.
