Don't get me started on the subject of updates. I have yet to come up with the energy for a long post about it. I haven't successfully gotten through an update, yet. I guess I'll let this drop till I get that sorted out.

I am trying LL as a suitable travel game platform. I tried to install steam, when through the "install additional software", selected item 17 (steam), said yes to the steam installer prompt, then entered my password. The response I got was an error pop-up:

Error

Steam could not be installed.

There is no other information. So, where do I go to look for the info about why the install failed?
