So after today's update, I got this...
update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-3.13.0-63-generic
mktemp: failed to create file via template ‘/var/tmp/mkinitramfs-FW_XXXXXX’: No such file or directory
update-initramfs: failed for /boot/initrd.img-3.13.0-63-generic with 1.
I even tried to install new kernel and they won't get configured (and now I cannot remove them). I tried some tutorial on internet and no luck :/
I did "sudo leafpad /etc/initramfs-tools/update-initramfs.conf" and disabled update_initramfs here, because I was said that my system wouldn't boot otherwise...
Any help?

Hi,
Hmm. so there wasn't initramfs-tools update? Too bad I already closed the terminal... Can I see a history of it?
The error was generated after udev installation I believe... Even according to dpkg.log. Doesn't mean much though... I was installing yesterday some VoIP clients (testing them), then uninstalled them and auto removed packages, today I auto removed packages from a RING software, then did these updates, and update-initramfs error after system updating (it failed. But the other updates were installed on the second try. But it's still broken

Hi,
I think this needs some one more technical than me, I guess this is the "Ring Software (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ring_(software))" you are referring to.??
If you google for the error shown, lot's of similar things come up, but I would not like to try without some other input.
From the error shown, check you actually have a directory called /var/tmp

Thanks a lot!
Creating a "tmp" directory in /var/ fixed my problems!
(I deleted the folder WEEKS ago to clean some garbage in it (because I used the directory for something and the content in it wasn't deleted automatically on reboot) I thought it will get recreated automatically when the folder is needed... But I guess it needs a root permission to do that.
Thanks! I'm not deleting any empty folders in root directories again! xD
I was getting my mind blown here from this, and it was so simple fix.
EDIT: And yes, It is the software I was referring to.

Glad it's sorted, :)
It was bit of a guess, because I checked my install and had a /var/tmp
But at least it's sorted.

I thought It was looking for a mkinitramfs-FW_XXXXXX file. Not the tmp folder. I didn't even know, because I deleted the folder weeks ago.
But when you mentioned it, and I was looking for the directory and haven't seen it there, I remembered I deleted it.
