Title: Auto update question
Post by: joejohnston3 on May 15, 2014, 10:09:42 PM
Hello all,

Is there any way to auto update LL? My users will need to have this automated if at all possible. Thank you.

Okay, I went into the Linux Lite Software Center and installed Update Manager as I presume that is what I was looking for but please let me know if this is or is not adequate. Thank you.

Thats not something I would recommend using. A better approach is to use a cron-apt, which will fully automate the process and run in the background at the times you set. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/AutoWeeklyUpdateHowTo
