Title: apt update error
Post by: Jan Zumwalt on April 28, 2020, 03:01:33 AM
When Attempting to update apt, I get the following error.

Code: [Select]
E: The repository 'http://repo.linuxliteos.com/linuxlite bionic Release' does not have a Release file.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.
N: See apt-secure( manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.
I tried the following suggestion without success...
Code: [Select]
sudo rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists/*

@Jan Zumwalt

Try Lite Tweaks - Package System Repair
Then rerun Lite Updates...

Both can be found from Menu (start typing Lite ... )

@ksenia

I see you've posted to 2 threads with an a similar theme - Update Errors.

But both threads have a different issue and different means of resolution.

Might I suggest creating a new thread with the output of your update error as there may be different means to resolution... Welcome!!
