Hi greenisland,

I have used Veracrypt, but only on partition level. No issues here.

Hope that helps :)

No warnings as such. It looks like the code has been audited so you should be safe. Google 'veracrypt audit'. I would personally prefer the licence was GPL.

I am only Linux user over 10 years. Try spyderoak cloud storage and backup system. It is encrypted storage.

I need to work on encrypting some folders that I plan to store in Dropbox, and after googling it appears that Veracrypt is the current leader and compatible with both linux and windows systems.

Does anyone have any experience, tips, or warnings about using it in LinuxLite?

thanks
