I always use apt-fast now , same commands as apt-get or aptitude .

And so I am always experimenting. I had to try this and installed apt-fast.

Found this when fooling around the net months ago .

Find it interesting . From an XPad commands reminders I did in Terminal ; .

apt-fast ppa ;

 $ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:saiarcot895/myppa
 $ sudo apt-get update
 $ sudo apt-get install apt-fast
