Hi @C0nfused

Are you using LL 3.6? Unfortunately, there are no AMD propietary drivers for Ubuntu 16.04. I have an AMD GPU too, HD6750 and am using Padoka PPA which offers the latest Mesa code. You can read about it here https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=RadeonSI-Padoka-May-Ubuntu-16
That article/post has some benchmarks the author performed while using this PPA. I can't tell anything about gaming performance cause I haven't installed any game since the only one I like is Pro Evolution Soccer and I did try with wine but failed everytime, it's supposed to work according to what I've read but guess I'm missing something. :(

Hope this helps! :)

Yeah, your propbably going to have to do this via Deb. 4000 series needs the legacy drivers (fglrx-legacy-driver (8.97.100.7-3~bpo70+1)

https://packages.debian.org/wheezy-backports/fglrx-legacy-driver
