Hi,

Installed Teamviewer on my 2 LL2 Laptops,, Seems to work very well.
Just an observation.
I noticed a very quick splash screen, you may easily miss it..
It appears the Linux version is actually the Windows Version.
It appears to be run in a Wine Run Time Wrapper.
I find no obvious Wine install components after the install.

Hello!

Valtam's suggestion of using the Install Additional Software script is best. it ensures that TeamViewer ends up with everything the Linux version needs - including WINE...

Hi Dave,

I started to think it about it technically and then ..... decided to stop. The LL install-additional-software option is good enough for my curiousity, I'll save the brain cells for something else.  :)

Hi Wirezfree

Which do I take for LL 64 bit, both have 64 bit variant.

I would take the "64-Bit without Multiarch" but I imagine they would both work.

I'm not 100% on this so please anyone else make comments too.

Hi Scott,

Thanks, I read the link...
I think I get what the idea is, make the OS kind of application agnostic?

Thanks... Dave

Use Install Additional Software, the option is there.

Yes, I did embarrass myself...  :-[
For not paying attention to what was already available.

Out of interest what is the answer.?

Thanks... Dave

I'm about to embarrass my self I'm sure.!!
I probably should really know this by now.

I want to install Teamviewer on my PC & Daughters laptop,
I have installed LL 32bit on my daughters, and I'm on LL 64 bit.
((I'm trying to get her off XP, and I could remote support her when she's away.))

On the Teamviewer download page there is 64Bit with, and without MultiArch
Which do I take for LL 64 bit, both have 64 bit variant.

Thanks... David
