    • Linux Lite OS

  • CPU: Intel Core i9-10850K CPU @ 3.60GHz

  • MEMORY: 32Gb

  • VIDEO CARD: nVidia GeForce GTX 1650

  • Kernel: 5.x
The software you are using states "VueScan works on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. It supports older scanners that don't work on newer operating systems, including most Canon LiDE, Epson Perfection, Nikon CoolScan and HP OfficeJet scanners." That is the reason.

Hi Jerry. the scanner works fine if i go into File Manager and open vuescan.
If I try the grafics entry there is no responce. I have downloaded the software
from Hamrick and as long as I use file manager it is ok.  Ray.

Hello Raymond, since this posted in the Software section of the Forums, can you please confirm that this is a software problem and that your scanner is fully functional and that it is not a hardware issue.
