Title: [SOLVED] How to dock application program to system tray ?
Post by: Kamyar on November 06, 2014, 08:04:48 AM
Hi LL members,

I observed applications like (TeamViewer, VNC or many others (that usually have their notification icon appear on the right corner near the clock)
have their icon appearing in taskbar as normal tasks.

Do you have an idea on how to modifiy this please ?
Thank you.

Hi LL members,
Please find the following screenshot attached.
Do you have any idea on how to place these "background windows" in the notification left corner ?
Thank you.

To sum up :

Any ideas on why do I have these two windows in the middle of the screen, while I expect them to be in the tray like in all other distros ?

Thanks.

Hi !
Fixed ! It was due to one missing element in my XFCE taskbar properties : "notification area"
