Hey!
I removed Mumble & Ristretto via Synaptic Package Manager. But the menu-entries remained in the Whiskermenu.
I then removed the corresponding *.desktop - files in the following folders (and rebooted):
-/usr/share/applications &
-/.local/share/applications
I uninstalled Whiskermenu and used the classic xfce-menu - the entries were still there. Now I'm back to Whiskermenu still searching for a solution to get rid of the entries.
What else could I try? Thanks in advance from a Linux beginner.

By the way I use Linux Lite 2.0 x64.
And in the menu editor ("Main Menu") the residual entries don't show up.

Try deleting mumble.desktop in /etc/skel/.local/share/applications

Hi Lurchis. I did the following test on LL2.0/64:
0. Start with classic xfce-menu & whisker menu in the panel
1. Menu > settings > main menu (editor)
2. Main menu (editor) > Internet (on left pane) > remove check mark for Mumble
The Mumble icon was removed from both menus. The reverse also worked - adding an icon.
1. Main menu (editor) > Accessories (on left pane) > add check mark for Bulk Rename
The Bulk Rename icon was added to both menus.

Thx Valtam & Scott for your help - Valtam, your suggestion did the trick for me - the entries are gone.

Neither worked for me. Mumble is still in Internet folder but doesn't show up in Main menu. using 32bit 2.0 :(
Sorted by re-installing mumble.
Unticking then deleting the mumble entry in Internet.
Removing mumble.
Voila gone :D

Hello!
After uninstalling Mumble in Synaptic (Install/Remove Software), I had mumble.desktop in the following locations:
-/.local/share/applications
/etc/skel/.local/share/applications
Removing both of these removed Mumble from the LL 2.0 Whisker Menu...
