You are apparently running the Live Media portion of Linux Lite.  To install the operating system, click on the Install Linux Lite icon on the desktop of the Live Media environment.  Also consider the Install Guide at the following link:

Hi guys, newbie to Linux Lite here.
I made my first attempt to install LL by downloading the ISO file and creating a startup flash drive in Ubuntu.
When I restarted the system with the flash drive inserted, LL came up and asked if I wanted to install updates.
I asked for updates but the update procedure failed, the reason given was insufficient space on the drive.
The flash drive is 32Gb and the hard drive is 200 Gb (mostly free).
Any advice would be appreciated.
