Hi, TravellerWill

Complete instructions on the use of Win32DiskImager may be found at:  https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/FromImgFiles/

Writing the iso file from your hard drive to the USB drive should not take hours - no more than a few minutes.

There's a video of someone using Win32DiskImager to install Ubuntu here:

Hope this helps.

Hi Everyone,

I'm really sorry but as a normal kind of person who thought they were quite good at computers, I've had no success at all in installing Linux Lite. Your instructions on line are for geeks, no offense intended.

'Writing the latest Linux Lite ISO to USB on Windows'
I downloaded the Win32DiskImager, so what? There are no other instructions which is very unhelpful.  I also downloaded Linux Lite which sits in my Firefox downloads. At one point I thought I was 'reading' and 'writing' Linux to the USB using Win32DiskImager and this took hours, the end result, nothing on the USB stick, so not a huge success.

I have no idea where to go now, any suggestions?
Best
Will
