Hi Scott

Thanks for the idea but I do not think that is what I wanted . In Lite 1.0.8 if I opted to not use a Log On Password some programs had a Pop-up that asked for an " Unlock Keyring " which is another password . This could be modified using  ---- Menu > Settings > Passwords and Keys    in Lite 1.8.0
For some obscure reason I got the Pop-up happening in Lite 2.0 but no way of modifying its behavior .

Personally I do not need it now as I have purged all my computer of Linux as I was drowning in one problem after another with different installs and booting problems.
I now have a hopefully clean copy of Lite 2.0 and Grub  that will work as intended  with my Win7 and separate Data and Backup partitions

Hi Colin,

A password manager, KeePassX, can be installed with the Install Additional Software utility.

I was trying to help Pelouk with his  Topic ---   Keyboard garbled

I now have the same "Unlock Keyring" request when I open Chrome Browser so I also wanted to find a fix . I looked in my crib list and found I had this in Lite 1-0-8 and made a note of how to fix it i
