Title: More on themes
Post by: jeffneedle on November 18, 2015, 02:20:33 PM
Hi.  Using Lite 2.6, 64-bit.

I'm still spinning on the themes issue.  Here's my problem.

The manual tells us to search the Gnome Look website for our desired theme.  In my case, it's Adwaita-Xfce.  Found it, clicked through.  I'm supposed to download the theme.  But when I click on the download link, it takes me to github.  Clicking through the links, you get a long list of files that apparently are contained in the adwaita archive, but I can't figure out how to download the archive, as instructed.  It's so frustrating!!!!  Why isn't this easier?

I would really appreciate some help here.  Many thanks.

The tutorial in the Help Manual will work fine. The only difference is you need to extract all of the themes from the zip file on that Github page (on the right where it says Download ZIP) Just make sure when you open the zip, you double click into where all the themes are, then extract it to .themes.

Thanks.  I'll give it a go.
