Can someone advise whether the above routine will work for LL5.0.   Have 64gb USB stick and don't want to risk it if unsure.  Thanks.Etcher unfortunately does not give Persistent option.
Also once made, can I install SOPHOS antivirus scanner on the persistent usb drive so that I can scan any PC I plug into afterwards - service tool.

The method described in that howtogeek tutorial is the same as described in the LL's help manual; how to install and use mksub.
Without each others help there ain't no hope for us :)
