Well I am still using Lite 3.8 because it is based on 16XXX Ubuntu...
It gives me lightning fast boot and all 18XXX Ubutu troubles are gone...
As I did use Lite on a 18XXX Ubuntu base first with a lot of problems
as arrow keys not working, graphic files hanging, even system hanging
for some time... and whatever....
But using 3.8 cannot load updates anymore and giving errors...
and the question is... is 3.8 a total updated system so updates not needed ?
Using Lite 4.2 or 4.4... is still having all the Ubuntu 18XXXX problems...
And yes they are Ubuntu problems as all those problems I did find on
Ubuntu and Peppermint also... pity Lite didn't build further on the 16XXX Ubuntu
But ok... I am happy with 3.8 as it is top and better than 4.xxx Lite... but
I miss the upgrades for 3.8...
Anyway... this is very personal... but t is a fact... and perhaps the reason a lot
are migrating to MXlinux... so leave Ubuntu 18XXXX and its problem far behind...
Lite is/was top... but it's base is build on a bad Ubuntu now...
Don't shoot at me... this is very personal
 ;)
I still use Lite after all... the retro one
