Title: Install on an EEE PC 1015N
Post by: Abw on July 20, 2016, 09:27:25 AM
Hi,
I've installed many distros in this EEE PC 1015N without a hitch. But I wanted to speed up this little lappy and decided to try linux lite which works great in a virtualbox. But installing and then reinstalling results in exactly the same issues:
By default the install turns on num lock, so half the keyboard is off until the numlock is turned off, and sudo does not accept the assigned password. (wrong password, try again) So if anyone has an EEE PC try it and let me know. Otherwise I'll have to continue looking at other distros..

Run Lite Tweaks, then select the Numlock option. This will probably solve the password issue at the same time due to the related numlock/keyboard issue.
