Just out of curiosity -- is there something in particular about UNetbootin that makes you say that?  Or is it just that people will get more consistent success rates using the dd command?

I'm not a die-hard "fan" of UNetbootin, but it is a relatively popular program for producing live USB's.  So, just curious if there is something that I don't know that is worth knowing about it.

More consistency with other methods, unetbootin will work on one version of LL and not on another. For windows users, win32diskimager has been rock solid.

Valtam,

Thanks.

Suspected that was reason, just wanted to make sure there wasn't something else about it I didn't know.
