Errors while trying to install

(1/1)

gold_finger:
Have not seen that error myself before.  Not sure what is causing it.  Answer a few basic questions below first.

What OS did you have on the machine before?  Windows?  If so, which version of Windows?

You now want only Linux Lite on computer -- correct?

Did you check to make sure the md5sum of the Linux Lite ISO file matches the one shown on download page before you made the live DVD/USB?

Boot computer with your LL installation disk again, then open a terminal and enter the following:

--- Code: ---ls /sys/firmware
--- End code ---

Then enter

--- Code: ---sudo parted -l
--- End code ---
(last character is a lowercase letter "L")

Copy entire output of both, then paste it back here for us to look at.   See this post for best way to paste code output back here to forum.

So, after burning a CD and getting Linux Lite up and running on my Asus eee something I wanted to install, and started.
I chose the option Erase disk and install Linux

This was followed by ceveral errors, and I haven\t got a clue on how to solve any of them.

After this it just sends me back to the step where I can choose between erasing the disk and installing, or something else.

No, I'm not really good at computer-stuff in general (as you can probably tell by my wording, I've got no clue), I'm just hoping someone is able to help me, I'd like to get this computer up and running again, works great when running from the disc, but that won't really work in the long run.
