I'm planning on passing on this computer but want to change the login, computer and username on this old machine to use for the new one.
Is it possible to do that change?

I found this 2014 post for changing username,  https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/installing-linux-lite/changing-user-name/  is the info still valid?
Thanks for any help or suggestions.
