Thank you for having responded. Currently the issue decided more carefully read the forum.
At first gained access to the LL by way transadd: a linux inserted after grub.cfg

/boot/vmlinuz-3.13.0-24-generic root = / dev / sda11 ro
initrd /boot/initrd.img-3.13.0-24-generic

Then, as described Jerry, in / etc / default / grub changed

GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR = `lsb_release -d 2> / dev / null || echo Debian`
to
GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR = `lsb_release -i -s 2> / dev / null || echo Debian`

Then set LL for one laptop once held these changes in the / etc / default / grub,
and then updated on this laptop Peppermint 5 of updating the kernel, respectively, adjusting
grub. No errors, LL normally loaded :)

Hello!

If I remember correctly, I previously mentioned installing and running GRUB Customizer, which will let you make the needed changes to GRUB.
If you just go messing around with the GRUB configuration files willy-nilly, you could end up with an unbootable system, requiring Boot Repair to fix...

On my laptop with a number of Linux distributions. LL installed last, so it loads first and only in that case it detects grub2. When downloaded some still operating after LL, then run it was impossible, though Start LL attended. This, after all, wrote in forum.

But even without installing a new system in other operating systems updates changed settings and to update grub access to LL simply reinstalling it.

He has leadership with 2 grub and understand that it is possible in / etc / default / grub in a row DEFAULT insert name of the operating system for priority loading
instead of numbers.

Will this work? And if so, what kind of name should fit?
I looked in there /boot/grub/grub.cfg something

'Description: Linux Lite 2.4 GNU / Linux' --class description_ --class gnu-linux --class gnu --class os $ menuentry_id_option 'gnulinux-simple-ece57eb7-9bac-4cad-93a0-f2f3d6db2f7f' {

But perhaps there are other ways to solve the problem?
Thanks.
