Hello!

Thanks, Jerry.

With something as sharp as yours is to go by, I just might start playing with Conky again. I just didn't want to spend several months on learning it all - or spend a similar period studying others' files...

@LL-user here you go - http://paste.ubuntu.com/10538266/ I hope you can configure it, tbh I don't have the time to help you with that :(

Thanks heaps, Jerry! :)
Generous enough of you to take the time and share it, did not expect further help.

Hi Jerry,

Thanks and congrats to this milestone!
Really impressed and absolutely addicted to the simplicity. No bells and whistles that are not necessary to do the task on hand. Awesome! :)

Keep up the good work guys!

Thank you, we believe in giving people a set of everyday tools, and letting them build on top of that if they choose to.

Off topic: Would you be willing to share you conky config file? I see some results in your display I just seem not be able to produce.

Keep up the good work guys!

What about 'Install Updates'?

That's in development so technically, there are no more terminal apps ;) https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/index.php?topic=1182.0

Excellent work...

Things like this, and Lite Tweaks et al make LL stand-out.

Pity most of the reviews focus on the Eye Candy and the Gazillion things added to bloat it.

Great work...

Outstanding.  I guess I didn't realize we were almost ready for 2.4.  I'm still on 2.0 and 2.2.

In Linux Lite 2.4, configuring Network Share Settings is greatly simplified. All you will have to do is, Menu > System > Configure Network Shares, enter your password and follow the prompts.

This is a significant milestone for Linux Lite as this marks the end of any terminal based apps in LL.
It's been a long, rewarding road from Linux Lite 1.0 :)

See this video for a look at how it will work:
