I guess I have become complacent because things seem to always work. :)
Upgrades WIP 2.6 to 2.8 - (6 X 2.6 to 2.8 completed on: 20/02/16 All O.K )
Linux Lite 3.0 Humming on a ASRock N3070 Mobo ~ btrfs RAID 10 Install on 4 Disks :)

ZX Spectrum(1982) , HP-150 MS-DOS(1983) , Amstrad CPC464(1984) ,  BBC Micro B+64(1985) , My First PC HP-Vectra(1987)

Trim is enabled on a weekly basis. The Help Manual guide ensures Trim is performed each time your pc boots. This IMO is the best way to look after your SSD.

I would suspect something "special" like that needs setting manually, otherwise a SSD detection routine would be required.
I maybe wrong.??

There is some Info here on SSD & Ubuntu 16.04(LL 3.0 based on this)

Will be installing LL 3 to a Samsung 850 evo ssd. Do I still need to follow the enabling trim guide in the help manual? Or will LL 3 setup it automaticly?
