@Anton89,

The download is not related to Linux, it is for the USB 3.0 Card it'self
In your lspci above: "NEC Corporation uPD720200 USB 3.0 Host Controller"

Another quick Google, a number of forums reference this this being the latest: "NEC Firmware"
It appears to be a Windows exe file, maybe it will update the Firmware directly from windows, or extract the firmware files..??
Take "ALL" the usual Windows precautions when dealing with downloads...!!!

Uff... this seems like a lot of work but i will try. On the forum it says to download from this site http://www.station-drivers.com/page/renesas.htm What should i download. (sori I'm kinda a noob for linux)

One more thing. Will the card then still work with windows drivers? or not? because i have two drives. on one is win and on another ll. Most of the time i use LL but when i need to do something for work i swich to win this is why a want it to work for both OS.

@Anton89

Yes, that is part of the issue, the card appears to be detected but does not work.
So a possible fix is that you need to update the Firmware on the USB 3.0 Card.

You need to create a boot stick to update the Firmware.
If you look part way down the page on this link,
you will see instructions on how to do it, it is next to the "Green Tick"
You create a boot USB stick, and have the latest Firmware on another.

Ignore the topic that say's it's for for Ubuntu 12.04,
the fix is mentioned for multiple distros, in multiple forums.

Just out of interest, a quick Google shows a number of reports like this.
They seem to resolve this with a Firmware update to the USB3 card itself

Perhaps type in "lspci" and/or "lsusb" in a terminal and submit the result to the forum.

If that doesn't yield anything we can use, you might have to open the desktop and document the make and model number of the card.  Perhaps you can even submit a close up picture of the card if you're not sure which numbers are the make and model number.
