Can writes to SSD be eliminated completely?

(1/1)

Paul74:
Hello !
Completely eliminate writes to SSD !!!!
I don't think is possible. But I am not an expert !

But I reduced the number of write operations by putting temp files in memory.
To do that, I just modified /etc/fstab file.
The first advantage is a shorter boot time : 20 seconds from pressing On to main panel, on an old Dell Optiflex 760 with a 240 GB SSD.

Silly question i suppose.
But, can writes to SSD be completely eliminated?
