For one reason or another, when I try to install a game in one of my different drives, I keep getting the message that says Failed to create new Steam library folder, anybody have a solution to this. Also, yes I have run the sudo chown -R user:user /media/user/"drive"/ && chmod -R 770 /media/user/"drive"/ command.

Got similar issue once, had to uninstall the steam app then  reinstall it. Worked for me.

  • VIDEO CARD: EVGA GTX 970 Super Clocked

I'm using Manjaro now. But if anyone needs help with Linux Lite, I'm here for you.
