Title: Manually editing the menu how?
Post by: Abw on February 15, 2019, 07:01:30 PM
Hi, I've got three Menu items that do not point to any program and I can not get rid of them. These items do not show in the menu editor. Is there a way to manually edit the menu and delete residual entries? If so, a detailed step by step would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello Abw,

there is a tutorial on how to do this on this link, under the heading "Hide Menu Entries" -

https://wiki.xfce.org/howto/customize-menu (https://wiki.xfce.org/howto/customize-menu)

Open your Home directory, hold down the Ctrl key and press h, this will show the directories usually hidden from view for tidyness, there you will then see the directory discussed in the above tutorial link.
