SOLVED How to customize Whisker Menu

Yeah, that too and you can do much more than that within that properties settings. Glad you sorted it out and learnt new things on your own too! :) Remember to mark the thread as solved.

Yes, it is possible to do what you want. Right-click on the item you want to change, i.e Thunderbird, select edit application or some similar wording from the context menu and change it from Mail Client to Thinderbird repeat the process for each and every other item you wish to change as well.
