Hi Guys, I followed the 3+1 steps.
Yes, lsblk confirmed that "/dev/nvme0n1" is my only internal drive in this laptop.

This time, the installer finished with a message showing successful install.
I rebooted, was asked for encryption PW, it was accepted, but unfortunately, I'm still stuck with the dreaded "spinning feather".

I'm afraid, it's time for me to throw in the towel.
I have a lot happening in my (not virtual) life at the moment. As well, because I'm not a computer guy, every little step/hurdle takes me for ever to overcome.
In May, I tried to upgrade from LL 7.2 to 7.8 on my gf's computer (the Lenovo thinkcenter M715Q) and it crashed. I had to do a complete new install of 7.8 and try to recover what was lost. I thought: "ok, in 3 weeks comes the 8.0, I'll install it and be good for another 5 years", but when it came up I couldn't install it either, so back to 7.8.
Now, I'm struggling with my "new" laptop and I can't see the end of it.

Please, Jerry and the team, don't take this personally, I'm very grateful that you guys provided me with a (mostly) trouble free OS for free for the last 11 years, but I can't afford to burn more hours/half-days on this install.
You are always welcome 🙂
If you're stuck on the spinning feather, just hit the ESC key, it's probably unrelated and hung on a systemd service.
