I had a customised Whisker menu icon set in the prefs.


NB: Compared to the overall performance of your new upgrade tool, these are all minor issues!    Form follows function... 

Would be nice if that change only got applied for default settings, i.e. user customised settings would be kept. - This is intentional and is one of the ways in which we confirm to the user that the upgrade has been successfully applied.


I had a customised Whisker menu icon set in the prefs. - those won't be addressed, sorry.
