Try changing repository.
Menu - begin typing 'Software' into the search box and click on 'Software & Updates' when you see it offered
In the window that opens look for the 'Download from option.
Click on the the down arrow on the right and choose other.
Choose a location near to you, other than USA 'Main Server.'
Click close and enter your password if asked and refresh if asked.
Then try the update again.
