the keyboard on my hp 10-n105nl detachable no longer works, when the system starts, an error appears on a device that it thinks is the keyboard
I'm an Ubuntnoob but I hope I can assist you. Can you please provide more details on the error you have mentioned? I would also advice to plug in a cheap, wired keyboard for now in your device so you can keep continue your work.

P.S. Upon logging out, I realized that onscreen keyboard is available in there (in top left, accessibility icon). Onscreen keyboard would be helpful for your instance. It also seems that your HP Pavillion x2 has a touchscreen display. If it works, it would be helpful to assist you in your inconvenience as of the moment.
the error no longer appears, but the keyboard still doesn't work. It was something like, the devide not working
it's as if she is no longer recognized
I haven't been able to encounter this instance before so I'm afraid that I can't do much. However, this might help you.

they didn't work
I'm afraid I'm still not knowledgeable enough to deal with such instances. I reckon that it would be better temporarily for you to use an external keyboard.
