Error: Failed to connect to firewalld.  Please make sure the service has been started correctly and try again.
My WIFI connection is fine and general internet access is good.

Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

Need a bit more information.  Where are you seeing this message ?  Have you enabled the firewall ?
