Full Version: Install Updates Error log from Live Session

Hello.

Just flashed a USB. stick with Linux Lite 6 on a Dell Inspiron and tested it in a live session to see how it worked. On the bottom right I clicked on the "Package Update" and
I always get the error log below regardless of how many times during the day I re-try this. I don't think it's a temporary situation. I just don't understand this.

I've tested a lot of different Linux Distros. and I have done "Updates" in live sessions and didn't have any problems with those.

Thoughts and comments are appreciated. Thanks.

The Linux Lite Live DVD/USB image boots into a 'standard' desktop session.  In live mode, the update option appears but does not function.

Once Linux Lite has been installed on the disk the update option is fully functional.

To run Linux Lite off a USB media consider USB persistence mode.
