I had to go windows for a bit but it gotten so bad i rip the install out!
Welcome back! There's always Virtualbox if you have to have Windows for something.
Long story short. I did do that till I HAD to get film editing software. Vms do not do well with them. Granted now that open shot editor gotten better and gimp gotten better I'm fully linux
