Ubuntu will not be including Python2 in 20.04
The first victim is Cherrytree, the note taking app in Lite Software. So now we need a replacement for it. Any ideas?

I read about it few days ago but didn't realize/think about the apps that could be affected. I personally use Zim (which I read is quite similar to CT) and have never used cherrytree so not sure but, maybe Joplin?

I've heard of TomBoy, but I'm more familiar with Evernote and/or Google Keep.
They're
talking about cherrytree on the MX Linux forum. Apparently, it's being converted to C++ but won't be ready for some time. An MX developer said he's going to package something to buy time.
Zim is being recommended as a replacement.
hmpf - I really like CherryTree...
So would one be able to install Python then install CherryTree?? - Be a bit much for Lite Software but... a thought...
