No problem, we have all been newbies ! It's normal to ask loads of questions when you start out in Linux. Remember, it costs nothing to ask ...

1 - use
gparted app: type 'gparted' in the Menu search bar and click on 'Partition Drives' to open the the app - click on 'Partition' in the toolbar, Click on 'New' & choose file system you want to format to.
2 - pass (can't remember, I'm sure someone else will know)
3 - yes you can do this - go to Menu to look for app, right click on it, then select 'Add to Panel' from drop-down box
4 - yes, the app for this is called 'Deluge' - type it in the search bar in Menu

To add programs to start up with the system click on the menu icon and in the search bar type
session and startup in the tool's window go to the
application autostart tab. Next, click on the
add button and in the dialog window that pops up type the name of the app you want/need to add, write a description (optional), where it reads
command type command you want/need to be run at startup or click on the arrow or folder icon and go the app's location, select it and then click ok and that should be it. Sometimes you'll have to reboot to changes take effect. Look at the image below
hope this helps!

You can also format a USB drive using the already included graphical program called Disks. Just go to the menu and start typing in the word "disks," and you will see it.

I cannot thank you enough for your great help.. you people are wonderful. This is a truly friendly forum, thanks to you.
Today.. I tried to boot into Windows, only to find out that the keyboard is not working at startup OS selector, nor the mouse. I can only access the bios with F2 and boot selector with F12
My bios boot was set at legacy while using Windows 7, and while installing LL.. I tried UEFI hoping to get my mouse or keyboard working while in startup OS selection.. with no luck.
What should I do ?
Actually, this same problem forced me to abandon a previous Linux installation (Mint) because i was stuck and couldn't boot into Windows..
If your Windows 7 is installed in UEFI and you want to dual boot Linux Lite with it, you may consider installing the UEFI version of Linux Lite seen here:
https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/linux.../#msg44253
My hunch, however, is that you'd be better served avoiding dual booting. Furthermore, Windows 7 expires on 14 January 2020.

Needs to be installed from Lite Software first.

Deluge came already pre-installed for me, but then I'm using LL3.8 ...

The custom here is usually to press the 'thankyou' button on the profile for all concerned, when you get helpful advice
