I always keep my mobile phone next to my PC, notably, next to a wireless mouse, making me think from time to time, why do I not use that mobile as a digital mouse or even better, why is it not an all-included, with just a display device and a keyboard in front of me, receiving the signal? Anyway, it is an old fashioned, cheap but solid mobile with buttons. The one I am having next, is also going to be such. I rather avoid the touchscreens. Why do I keep it close? Two things. To check or double-check the time, that is one, the other, validation SMS.

Headphones, music.
Prior to converting to Linux Lite I had a swear box beside the computer Smile
A screwdriver set and another fast computer running Linux in order to do web searching and how-to video watching.
I tried quite a few times but never acquired the taste for beer or wine.
I'm sure it will happen someday, centuries of drinking the stuff can't be wrong.  Wink For now I still prefer Iced Tea and at the moment precisely this one. It's really good, cheers!  8) Appart from that, a good audio amp and an army of USB keys...

The COFFEE MAKER  less that 10 steps from the computer.
Plenty of USB Flash drives.
An external hard Drive to back everything up first.
More COFFEE ..  :Smile
A set of KVM Cables. to switch between computers..
My five favorite search sites..for Linux information .
More COFFEE ... ;D
My journal!  I keep of record of what I do to fix this or tweak that, and a description of what happened (success or failure, anything unexpected, persistence, etc).  I refer to it when I've forgotten how to do something.  Access to these and other forums is a biggie, too!
