Full Version: i found this media convertor "QWinFF" , what does any one think of this one ?

at first i was looking for something on handbrake, but found this on a old post instead, it looks interesting . its called "QWinFF" .
has any one else used this ?. can it make a large file smaller ?.

That looks like it has not been updated in a long time.

Stick with handbrake.

Last updated: 2015. That being said it doesn't mean won't work, but there are better and newer well and constantly maintained alternatives. I think in your case "resizing a video" openshot might be what you're looking for https://www.openshot.org/ Also, check this tutorial https://www.openshot.org/user-guide/

I agree with Openshot suggestion by Moltke. An Appimage can be downloaded from the web site, no installation needed. Works great for me on LL3.8
Videmux also could be considered as an option, I use it to split'n combine video clips.
