I keep getting this error now in v1.0.6 I'm trying to delete files off my USB stick, it's formatted with the exFAT file system. If I hold down SHIFT+DEL the error comes up but the file is gone. Is there a way to fix this?
Another thing, how to disable automount, I don't want to have my USB stick or eternal harddrive opening the contents as soon as it's plugged in.
Thanks.
Hi T1125P,
Do you see a hidden trash folder like this one on the root of the usb drive? Here's a picture.
Note: To see hidden files while in the Thunar file manager go to View > Show Hidden Files
Just plugged it in again. Nope it's all blank.
I also clicked show hidden files, still blank. (thanks for that tip as well!)
If you create a trash folder it may fix the problem.
The name of the folder is like you see it .Trash-xxxx (note the dot before the uppercase T) but the xxxx will need to correspond to the user id. Here's a picture.
So the User ID is 1001 and corresponds to the folder name .Trash-1001 in the first picture.
If this doesn't work see the link below for more ideas.

Thanks a lot, my user ID is 1000. I will try that in a bit and report back
It worked! Thanks a lot. I just did as you said and made a trash folder now my files delete as they should

You're welcome. Always nice to hear about success! 8)
Thank you! I also made the folder hidden in my Win 7 PC so I don't delete it by accident
