I am using Linux Lite 3.2. The system keeps on hanging very often When I tries to access the Samba Folders for any read or write activity. I am using  3.20 version. How do I rectify this error.

I can't give you a definitive answer but the first thing I would do is upgrade to LL3.8, the last series 3 version.
